A Mini Bernedoodle is a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Mini or Moyen Poodle. This breed combines the Bernese’s loyal, gentle nature with the intelligence and low-shedding coat of the Poodle. Mini Bernedoodles are known for being affectionate, family-oriented companions that adapt well to home life. Our program focuses on producing puppies with stable temperaments, sound structure, and predictable size and coat traits.
Our Mini Bernedoodles are bred from non-shedding parents, and the majority of our puppies are low to non-shedding. While no dog can be guaranteed to be completely hypoallergenic, our multigenerational breeding program greatly improves coat consistency. This makes our puppies a great option for many families who are concerned about shedding or allergies.
Most of our Mini Bernedoodles mature between 20–40 pounds. We track birth weights, weekly growth patterns, and parent sizes to provide thoughtful and realistic adult size estimates. While individual genetics always play a role, our consistent lines allow us to give families a clearer expectation than first-generation crosses.
Mini Bernedoodles are known for being affectionate, people-focused, intelligent, and eager to please. Our puppies are raised in a busy family home, which helps them develop confidence, adaptability, and calmness in everyday situations. We place a strong emphasis on temperament and emotional stability when planning our pairings.
